For Molly and Mike's Baby Girl

I made a mobile for the coolest girl in the world. She is still in utero, but just wait world. When she comes... birds will sing beautiful music while playing teeny-tiny ukeleles, sprinkled sugar cookies will rain from the sky, and hippos will put on tutus and dance. Maybe those things won't really happen, but it will still be just as good regardless. I am so excited to meet her someday!

I made her a mobile of sleepy sheep children. They have hearts on their back stitched with glow-in-the-dark thread. I used high contrast fabrics because that is good for little baby brains. I hope she looks at this mobile and feels comfort, calm, and warm fuzzy-ness as she drifts off to slumber land.

Congratulations again Molly and Mike! I am so happy for you!

That's awesome. Are you aware that a number of years later, that girl is probably going to demand a different kind of mobile?
